Two Crashes on I-45 in Dallas Cause Death and Injuries

A group of motorcycles were traveling at a fast speed on I-45 on Thursday night. One rider crashed his motorcycle. Other motorcycles, in a effort to help the injured rider, begin traveling southbound on the northbound lanes of I-45. Many cars traveling north on I-45 had to pull over on the side of the road to avoid hitting the motorcycles traveling the wrong direction.

A driver of a 18 wheeler truck called 911 to get help. As he tried to pull his truck off the side of the road, a Buick Regal with three passengers crashed into the the 18 wheeler. Two occupants of the vehicle, Jonnatha Hamilton and Derrick Finch were killed instantly. The surivivor in the car and the person involved in the motorcycle accident were taken to Baylor University Medical Center. Both are listed in criticial condition.

The driver of the 18 wheeler had his wife with him. His wife, Nomi Marquez, said her husband was trying to move the motorcycle and both of them heard tires from a car.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff, the multiple motorcycle riders traveling in the wrong direction left the scene and were not interviewed by officers.

Multiple children were injured in car accident on January 5, 2010 in Flower Mound, Texas. At least one child, a 12 year old six-grade male student at Liberty Christian School in Flower Mound, Texas is dead and two others were injured.

The accident involved four vehicles on Hwy 377 at Stonecrest Road near Liberty Christian School. One of the injured students was taken, via CareFlite, to Harris Methodist Hospital.

The police are still investigating the cause of the accident. No names have been released.

Texas Wrongful Death Auto Accident: Three People Killed in Car Accident in Orange County, Texas

According to a Houston news station, the Texas Department of Public Safety is reporting a two car wreck has caused three people to lose their lives. Texas DPS states the accident involved a SUV and a pick up truck. The accident happened on a farm to market road near Vidor, Texas.

The three people that died have been identified as: 33 year old Kelly Marie Dutta of Beaumont, Texas; 61 year old Margaret Jane Cottom of Jasper, Texas and 47 year old Kathy Harrison Viator of Orange, Texas. Dutta and Cottom were in the pickup with a three old, who was injured. Cottom was driving the SUV.

Texas DPS has opined the cause of this wrongful death auto accident was from the driver of the pickup attempting to make a left hand turn on the farm to market road.
